I was so excited to go home to give some treats to our dogs today, because I know they will love it especially the new toy. So when I arrived home, I played with them (the ampon dogs) I gave them treats and stuff. Later on, I decided to bring them back to their rooms (wow rooms! 😅 –in their place).
After that, it’s our (legit) dogs turn so I brought them outside the house but this is where things heats up. One of our ampon dogs suddenly attack one of our dogs and the collision starts, one fighting one another and so on. It was a total chaos! And there was me in between dogs fighting each other.
So what’s the lesson here? Contentment.
(Our ampon dogs wants more)
Isn’t it sometimes we act like that?
Because sometimes we are not contented or satisfied with what God gave us. That sometimes because we WANT MORE, we hurt others in the process. We compromise, we lie, or even cheat.
I was reminded of this bible verse.
“If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.” – 1 Corinthians 10:12 NLT
This is for everyone who thinks they are immune to temptation, being over-confident and self-righteous; all driven because of (context) WANTING MORE in life.
For those who we put their security in work, business or relationship. I hope this verse will serve us as a warning. I hope we choose to trust in God in every area of our life. That God is more than enough and because of that we are secured and contented in this journey of our life.
PS: My wound was not inflicted from our dogs but to the stuff around. God is Good. 💙
