The night is getting long
I’m drowning
Or maybe we missed saying goodbye
That’s why I’m dreaming
Dreaming of you
in the middle of the night
Repeating everything
I’ve said.. You’ve said..
My chest is bursting out
But it’s not the dream
that woke me up
It is the storm in my pillow
That won’t dry out
Looking for words to describe
For what obedience seems defeated
But then I reminded this borrowed life
What more can I ask about it
For the One who pursue
Even I don’t know Him yet
The One that I will look up
Even my heart tore in death.
“.. while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
